Buys, sells, dividends and fees, wherever Public publishes an activity feed. When it does not, FortuneOK rebuilds your entry from the average cost the broker reports, so profit and loss is never blank.
A Public account is priced in dollars, which is only the whole story if dollars are what you spend. FortuneOK reports it in whichever base currency you pick, so an expat or a cross-border investor reads a US account and a local one on the same scale.
How to connect Public
Open the broker list
Sign in to FortuneOK, open the portfolio menu and choose "Connect a broker".
Choose Public
Pick Public from the list. SnapTrade's secure portal opens and you sign in to Public there, never inside FortuneOK.
Approve read-only access
Confirm the connection. Public grants permission to read positions and activity only, with no ability to trade or move money.
Watch the portfolio fill in
Your Public account arrives as its own portfolio tab and joins the combined view of everything you own.
The connection stays read-only for its whole life. FortuneOK never receives your Public password, and nothing in the app can place a trade or move money. The privacy policy lists exactly what is stored.
