How the connection works

Three steps, then nothing. Broker sync exists so the numbers stay honest without you maintaining them.

   Pick your broker

   Choose the institution from the list inside FortuneOK. The connection is opened in SnapTrade's secure portal, so your brokerage credentials are never typed into FortuneOK and never reach us.

2. 2

   Holdings arrive on their own

   Positions, cash balances and available trade history import into their own portfolio tab, converted into whichever base currency you read your wealth in.

3. 3

   It stays current

   Every sync refreshes quantities, prices and new transactions, so cost basis, allocation and returns keep up without a single manual entry.

What a connection can and cannot do

It is read-only, always.

FortuneOK requests position and activity data. It has no trading permission and no transfer permission, so nothing in the app can buy, sell or move a single share or dollar.

Your broker password never reaches us.

Credentials are entered in SnapTrade's portal, which holds the connection. FortuneOK stores a reference to it, not your login.

You can disconnect whenever you like.

Disconnecting removes the authorisation at the broker. Deleting your account cancels everything and wipes the data outright, and you can export a full copy first.

Manual assets sit beside synced ones.

Property, private holdings, cash in a bank no aggregator reaches: add them by hand and they join the same net worth, allocation and return figures.
