Add what you owe, see what you are worth
Enter a mortgage, a loan or a card balance and your net worth shows assets less debts, right under your portfolio value.
Your portfolio value says what you own. It has never said what you owe. You can now add the debts that sit behind your assets and see the difference.
What you can add
- A mortgage, a loan, a credit card or any other debt, in any currency.
- An optional interest rate, and an optional link to the asset it finances, such as the flat behind a mortgage.
- Debts live in your manual portfolios, and the Debts card sits with your breakdown.
What changes on screen
Once you have a debt, a line under your portfolio value reads Debts and Net worth. The big figure stays your assets, so it still matches the last point of the chart. Debts are converted at today's rates into your base currency, and a debt whose currency has no rate yet is left out and flagged.
What it does not do yet
- Debts are entered by hand. We do not connect to loan accounts.
- There is no history for debts, so the chart still shows your assets alone.
- Returns, allocation and your goals are not affected by debts.
Delete a portfolio and the debts you entered in it go with its assets.
