Goal badges on your returns

Today and Total return now carry a goal badge, and every badge says which figure it rates.

A returns strip with two cells, Today and Total return, each led by a round goal badge, a trophy and a warning triangle

If you have set a target annual return, the Today and Total return cells in your returns strip now show the same goal badge you see beside each holding. Hover or tap it to see what it is rated against.

What changed

  • Today is rated against one day's share of your yearly goal, so a good day earns a trophy and a flat or down day does not.
  • Total return is rated the way your holdings are: your money-weighted return against the goal, pro-rated if your portfolio is under a year old.
  • Every badge now explains which figure it rates, such as 7.2%/yr money-weighted return, since the rows show your total gain instead.
  • A category's badge tells you when it left out holdings under 30 days old.
  • The Annual Return card is rated the same way, so a portfolio under a year old is no longer held to a full year's goal, and its icon has the same explanation.
  • Hide your values and the badges hide too, since their explanations quote the figures.
