Improvement to an existing feature: Improved

Targets read like the rest of Allocation

The Targets tab and the Target Mix settings now show each target the way every other Allocation row does, and you can drag a target to set it.

Two target rows, each with a name, an amount and a move to make above a thin bar, and one bar with a draggable marker

Targets now look and read like the rest of the Allocation card, and setting one is a drag instead of just typing.

What changed

  • Each target is a name, then what you hold there and whether to buy, sell or stay put, then one thin bar with held and target at its end.
  • The grey line naming the category is gone. The name and the amount are what you came for.
  • In Target Mix settings the marker on each bar is a slider. Drag it, or focus it and use the arrow keys, and the percentage box follows.
  • The box is smaller and still takes typed values. The bar, the amount to move and the total all update as you go.

The bars are the same size everywhere in Allocation now, so a target compares at a glance with a holding.
