Improvement to an existing feature: Improved

Your chart now follows the exchange rate day by day

If you hold pesos, pounds or any other currency, your history used to move in monthly steps. It now uses each day's exchange rate, so the line is smooth.

Two lines for a portfolio held in pesos: a staircase that steps once a month, and a smooth line that moves every day

Hold assets in another currency and your history used to step. We turned each past day into dollars with one exchange rate per month, so a peso property book jumped on the first of the month and sat still until the next.

What changed

  • Each day uses that day's exchange rate. Weekends and holidays use the last close.
  • The line moves smoothly, and the figures in the strip below it follow.
  • Dollar-only portfolios look exactly as before.

To see it on your account

Press Update on the dashboard once. It rebuilds your history with the daily rates. New days are added with the live rate as always.

A jump caused by you changing a valuation is still a jump. That one is real, and it stays.
