Hints that work on your phone
The small hints that explain a badge, an icon or a greyed out button now open with a tap, not just a mouse, and always fit on screen.
Small hints explain things across FortuneOK: what a goal badge means, which broker a holding syncs from, why a time range is greyed out. Until now they only opened when you hovered with a mouse, so on a phone you never saw them.
What changed
- Tap a goal badge, a lock icon, a currency chip or a cut-off name to read its hint. Tap anywhere else to close it.
- A button you cannot use yet tells you why when you tap it, like a time range that needs more history, or a vote on your own suggestion.
- Hints stay on screen. They flip or slide to fit beside the edge of the page, a scrolling list or a dialog.
- On a keyboard, moving to a button or a badge shows its hint, and Escape closes the hint without closing the dialog you are in.
Buttons that do something, like Update or Remove, still act on the first tap. Their hint shows when you hover or move to them with the keyboard.
