Report a bug, with a screenshot
The suggestions board now takes bug reports too, and you can paste or drag a screenshot straight into a post, then resize or crop it. A full screen button gives a long one room.
The suggestions board was for ideas. Now it is also where you tell us something is broken: one place, one list, and the same votes, so other members can confirm a bug hits them too.
What changed
- Two buttons on the board: Suggest a feature, and Report a bug. Each opens the same form with the words changed to fit.
- A filter to show everything, only features, or only bugs, next to the status filter you already had.
- Paste a screenshot from your clipboard, or drag an image file in, and it lands in the post. Up to three images, 5 MB each, as PNG, JPEG, WebP or GIF.
- Click an image to resize it by its corner, crop it down to the part that matters, or remove it.
- A full screen button on the editor, for the long report that needs steps, a screenshot and what you expected instead.
A bug report follows the same rules as a suggestion: it is public under your first name, members vote on it, we mark it planned, shipped or declined, and an open one that finds no votes or comments in 60 days is removed.
An image you attach is stored with the post and shown to anyone who reads it, so keep your account numbers out of the shot.
