Menus now slide up from the bottom of your phone

On your phone, menus, pickers and info popovers open as bottom sheets, and every popup shares the same smooth motion.

Windows already slid in like a native app. Now the smaller popups do too.

What changed

  • On your phone, menus, pickers and info popovers open as a sheet that slides up from the bottom edge, close to your thumb.
  • Windows, menus and popovers all share one motion now, on your phone and on a computer, so nothing feels out of step.
  • It eases in and out like iOS, and the page behind answers the moment you close one.
  • If your device is set to reduce motion, they fade instead of sliding.

Nothing about what the menus do changed. They just arrive and leave more smoothly.
