Improvement to an existing feature: Improved

A new account now has one place to start

An empty portfolio shows one set of choices instead of five buttons, a faded preview of your charts, and a way to explore a sample portfolio first.

A faded dashboard preview under a row of four start cards, one of them marked as the sample portfolio

A new account used to open on a pile of buttons: Add asset in two places, three start cards and a Set up button on every goal. Now there is one place to click, and the rest waits until you have something to show.

What changed

  • Start your portfolio now has four cards: add an asset, import a file, connect a broker, or explore a sample portfolio.
  • The sample card opens the live demo, where you can try every chart with real data. Its header brings you back with Start with my own portfolio.
  • The empty chart area shows a faded picture of what your portfolio will look like.
  • The goal cards keep their explanation but drop their Set up buttons until you add your first asset.
  • Add asset buttons appear once you have an asset.

Want to look around first? Try the live demo.
