Improvement to an existing feature: Improved

An empty portfolio now shows what you are about to get

Before your first asset, every screen shows a faded sample of the real dashboard instead of a blank page, and you can set your goals right away.

A faded sample dashboard with a line chart, a donut and a row of return figures under a caption saying this is what your portfolio will look like

A new account used to open on a lot of white space, especially on a phone: a blank Breakdown, one line of text under Returns and a screenshot that did not match your screen. Now every screen shows the real thing.

What you see

  • Overview, Breakdown and Returns each show the real chart, donut and figures over the sample portfolio, faded, under a line that says what it is.
  • On a computer, the sidebar and the returns row do the same.
  • The samples are only a picture: nothing in them is yours, and you cannot click them.
  • The moment you add your first asset, they give way to your own numbers.

Goals, right away

The Set up buttons are back on every goal card, so you can choose your target return, emergency fund, allocation and retirement plan before you own anything. Below them you can see how those cards will read once you do.

Add asset is on the Breakdown and Returns screens on a phone, so the next step is always one tap away.
