Your chart history now rebuilds in the background

After an import or an edit, your history rebuilds behind the scenes and the chart shows how far along it is, instead of leaving you waiting.

A performance chart card with a progress bar at 40 percent and the words Rebuilding history above a faded line

Importing a long history or editing an old transaction means we replay every day since then against real prices. On a big portfolio that can take a minute or more, and the chart used to sit there with only a spinner.

What changed

  • The rebuild runs in the background, so nothing waits on it.
  • The chart card shows a progress bar and a percentage while it works.
  • Reload the page mid-way and the bar picks up where it was.
  • Press Update twice and the second press joins the rebuild that is already running.

The chart redraws by itself the moment the rebuild finishes.
