A failed payment never hides your data
If a card fails, your dashboard stays fully readable. Only saving pauses, and only until you have updated it.
Cards expire. Banks decline things for no reason you will ever learn. None of that is a good reason to hide someone's own portfolio from them.
There is no paywall screen any more. When a trial ends or a payment fails, the dashboard renders in full behind a notice and only writing is paused. Your charts, returns, goals and history are all still there, and you can still export them.
A failed card gets room to breathe
A declined payment keeps full access for seven days while your bank retries, so a card that expired over a weekend costs you nothing at all.
The wording is different too. A card problem asks you to update your card. It never tells you your subscription has ended, because it has not.
